Salesforce Integration With CDX
BACKGROUND:
Our integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, which enables campaign data to be transferred to SFMC and managed through their UI, has been non-functional for the past couple of years.
SOLUTION:
Campaign export for Salesforce Marketing cloud has been reinstated.
What this looks like in Liveclicker:
To be able to use this feature, a request needs to be sent to a Liveclicker support officer to enable CDX for Salesforce.
1. To set up your integration, CDX Salesforce requires that you have a SF Marketing Cloud user set up with specific rights:
2. You also need an FTP account that can be used for the integration:
3. In Liveclicker, you the need to add the ESP Salesforce and Salesforce FTP to the ESP integrations for your account:
A full description of how to set up the campaign export can be found here.
Other Enhancements
- You can now scroll, when uploading multiple assets from the Media library.
Corrections
- Subscriber article linked from the Liveclicker application was broken. This has been corrected.
- In the dialog to reset the LivePoll results, the Continue and Cancel buttons were shown outside of the dialog. These have now been corrected and now show within the dialog.
- When setting a date/time targeting rule in LiveTimer campaigns, the date/time was misaligned in the field, preventing the user to choose the correct date because it was not fully visible.
- Deleted campaigns were wrongly shown under Recently launched campaigns. This has been corrected and they are no longer listed there.
- Incorrect analytics were shown on the home page. The total impressions shown was actually displaying the clickthrough rate. This is now corrected.
- For Selligent and Cheetah integrations, when an element was embedded in the template, the clickthrough functionality was missing, rendering the element non-clickable. This issue has now been resolved
